One day from gesture to ink

I offer you an immersive day at the studio, where the process starts in your hands and ends as a tattoo you are at the origin of.

The morning is devoted to creating your projections. Then, while you get some fresh air and lunch on your side, on mine, I prepare the next step. When you're back, I create the composition directly on the chosen placement on your body, and once it's approved, we move on to anchoring your piece.

The morning your paint splatters

In the morning, you create. You throw your own paint splatters: your gesture, your shapes, your energy of the moment. No need to know how to paint or draw: your gesture is what counts. While you're out for lunch and a change of air, I clean up the splatters we picked together and vectorise them.

The afternoon the composition on your body

When you're back, I compose the project directly on you, right where it belongs: the volumes of your body and its movement are part of the composition. Once the placement is approved together, I tattoo. The result: a one-of-a-kind abstract piece you literally co-authored.

There isn't much on offer at this level in tattooing. It's not a style you do just to do it: without genuine love for it, you stay away.

In practice

how long does the experience last?

One day at the studio: your projections in the morning, lunch and a change of air while I vectorise, the composition and the tattoo in the afternoon.

do i need to know how to paint or draw?

Not at all. Your gesture is what counts, not your technique: the splatters are a way of bringing your spontaneity into the piece. The composition, the readability and the anchoring are my job.

how much does it cost?

Like any project: the starting price is CHF 150, design included, and the exact range is defined at the appointment, depending on the size and placement of the piece. The full workings are on the prices page.

do i choose the placement?

Yes, we define it together at the preliminary appointment. In the afternoon, I compose directly on that placement: your anatomy and the movement of your skin are part of the piece.

is it done in one session or several?

The day is designed as a whole: creation in the morning, tattoo in the afternoon. If your project calls for more, we talk it through at the appointment and organise the rest, session by session.
