I build my pieces with bold lines, black shapes and brushstrokes that retain a clear visual structure. A graphic composition with a simpler foundation can stay powerful for a long time. Every element has its place, with enough breathing room for the whole piece to age well.

People from the near side of the canton of Fribourg already make the journey to Villeneuve for their tattoos. A piece seen on a friend, a line recognised at a glance or a recommendation is often enough for my work to travel beyond the studio. These clients choose a particular way of composing, along with the rigour behind it. This is also how my practice has grown since January 2021: one tattooed person tells the next.
