Getting tattooed is an intimate process, and it can be easier and more comfortable woman to woman. There's the “why” behind the project, which in a way leads you to talk about yourself. There's also the physical closeness tattooing requires. Depending on the size of the piece, the work can take hours, sometimes several afternoons, and to me it's essential that this time feels comfortable and is lived in trust.

And finally, there's the added intimacy of pieces placed under the bust or on the lower back, for example.

On the day undressing as little as possible

If you decide to get a tattoo with me, you'll receive a document to help you prepare for the day itself. Among other things, it lists my suggestions of what to wear so that you undress as little as possible while your piece is being done. If the tattoo means exposing a part of your body that leaves another impossible to cover with clothing, I'll provide what's needed (nipple covers or a blanket).

The meeting face to face at the studio

I pay particular attention to the connection between us, and so to starting every project with a meeting and a face-to-face conversation at the studio. To me, how you feel in the place and with the person who's going to tattoo you matters just as much as the quality of their work. Your questions

do you tattoo intimate areas?

Yes. I tattoo every part of the body, except the genitals. For those placements, we talk it through at the appointment, and on the day you undress as little as possible: I have what's needed at the studio to cover whatever doesn't need to be exposed.

is the studio private during the session?

The studio is on the ground floor, with a shop window onto the old town. If you'd rather have privacy during your session, I close the curtain: just say so. The rest of the time, people passing by liven up the session.

i'm pregnant or breastfeeding: can i get tattooed?

No, I don't tattoo during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your project can wait for the right moment: we'll talk about it and prepare it for later.

can i bring someone along?

A tattoo is a personal choice and a moment for yourself: I recommend coming alone, free to make your own choices and to share what you want to share. If you'd rather have someone with you, let me know when we set the appointment: the studio is small.

how much does it cost?

The starting price is CHF 150 (Swiss francs), design included. At the studio appointment, I'll give you a range depending on the size, placement and style of your piece. The full workings are on the prices page.
