A delicate design, a larger composition, a cover-up or a tattoo that needs reworking can all be the starting point. I draw each project to fit your body and your story. Graphic and abstract work is my signature style, but botanical, animal, symbolic and ornamental ideas also have their place.

The first figurative thing that comes to mind, the one I really love, is botanical and animal work: insects, specifically.

ALONG THE LAKE at the Villeneuve studio

Vevey, Montreux and Villeneuve sit along the same stretch of the Swiss Riviera. Amartato Studio is at Grand-Rue 10, near the start of the street and three minutes on foot from Villeneuve station. The address changes, but getting here from Vevey stays straightforward.

TIME TO TALK before the tattoo session

Your online request lets me understand the outline of your idea. We then meet at the studio for thirty minutes to an hour to define the project, check its feasibility and discuss placement and budget. This first appointment is free and does not commit you to going ahead.

DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS one custom approach

Abstract compositions, botanical lines, insects and arm pieces show some of the directions a project can take. This temporary selection will be refined during the final photo review.

Yes. The direct train takes around thirteen minutes. Once in Villeneuve, the studio is a three-minute walk from the station, near the start of Grand-Rue.

can i easily drive from vevey?

The studio is at Grand-Rue 10 in Villeneuve. Vevey, Montreux and Villeneuve are on the same axis of the Swiss Riviera, and the direct connection makes it quick to get here from Vevey.

do i need to visit once before the tattoo session?

Yes. We first meet at the studio for thirty minutes to an hour to define your project. This appointment is free and comes with no obligation. We book the tattoo session afterwards, once the deposit is paid.

what tattoo styles do you offer near vevey?

Most of my work is custom. I take on graphic and abstract, botanical, animal, symbolic and ornamental projects, as well as cover-ups and reworks. Realism is not part of my practice.
