Tattoo healing useful care, without overdoing it

Kaiiza tattoo artist

A fresh tattoo is skin doing repair work. The goal is not to pile on products: keep it clean, follow the studio instructions and give your body time.

What does normal healing look like? what your skin may do

Mild tenderness, warmth and swelling are common at first. Tightness, flaking and itching can follow, provided they gradually ease.

Do not scratch or pull at flakes and scabs. Let them come away by themselves so you do not lift pigment or mark the skin.

How should you care for your tattoo? the steps that genuinely help

Wash your hands, clean the area gently as instructed and pat it dry with something clean. Use only the recommended product, in a thin layer.

Avoid friction, tight clothing and anything that keeps the skin wet. No baths, pools, lakes, sea or sauna until the skin has fully closed.

When should you seek advice? signs you should not dismiss

Increasing pain, spreading redness, unusual discharge, strong local heat or fever need prompt medical advice.

Send me a clear photo for questions about the piece or studio aftercare. A doctor or pharmacist should assess medical symptoms.

Calm healing mostly takes consistency and a little patience.
