how long is the train ride from aigle to villeneuve?
The direct train takes around seven minutes. From Villeneuve station, Amartato Studio is another three-minute walk.
can i drive from aigle?
Yes. Allow around ten minutes depending on traffic. In the street outside the studio, the blue zones (free with a Swiss parking disc) are limited to 1 hour. Around the post office, the white zones let you stay 4 hours. At Place de la Laiterie, the metered spots also go up to 4 hours, with the first hour free, then CHF 1 (Swiss franc) per hour.
where exactly is the studio when i arrive?
Amartato Studio, Grand-Rue 10, 1844 Villeneuve, Switzerland (canton of Vaud), at street level, a 3-minute walk from the train station. You'll find the entrance near the start of the street, with a shopfront facing the street. See the address on Google Maps.
do you take both small designs and large pieces?
Yes. I create custom tattoos in a range of sizes, taking placement and the movement of your body into account. I also offer cover-ups and reworks of existing tattoos.
how is the price set before the session?
At our discussion appointment, which is free and with no commitment, I give you a price range (say CHF 300-450) for the project we define together. If the size, placement or details change before the tattoo session, we adjust the range and approve it before we begin. Once the tattoo has started, the range won't change. If there's a surprise, it can only be a good one.
