The train takes over an hour to reach Villeneuve, so driving is the more practical option from Châtel-St-Denis. If you choose public transport, check the day's timetable before leaving.
In the street outside the studio, the blue zones (free with a Swiss parking disc) are limited to 1 hour. Around the post office, the white zones let you stay 4 hours. At Place de la Laiterie, the metered spots also go up to 4 hours, with the first hour free, then CHF 1 (Swiss franc) per hour.
