Cookies nothing runs until you say yes
The bare minimum two things, and both earn their place
Two mechanisms run without asking, because the site cannot work without them. Neither one is there to track you.
Your cookie choice. When you answer the banner, your answer is kept in your browser's local storage, under the key kaiiza-cookie-consent. Technically that is not a cookie: nothing is sent to a server, the value never leaves your machine. It holds your answer, the date, and the version number of this page. Without it, you would be asked again on every click.
Form protection. On the project request page, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person rather than a bot. It may set a technical marker for the duration of that check. This is a security measure: it does not measure audience and it does not follow you from site to site. It appears nowhere else on the site.
Measurement it waits for your go-ahead
Until you accept, none of these tools is loaded. This is not a setting that makes them discreet: the code is simply never downloaded, no request goes out, no cookie exists. If you decline, that stays true.
Google Tag Manager is the carrier: it loads the two tools below once you have agreed. It sets no cookie of its own.
Google Analytics 4 counts visits and shows me which pages people arrive through. It sets two cookies, “_ga” and “_ga_” followed by the site identifier, kept for two years by Google. No advertising feature is switched on: no Google signals, no remarketing, no user ID, no ad personalisation.
Microsoft Clarity records heatmaps and browsing sessions, which shows me where the site gets in your way. It sets “_clck”, kept for a year, and “_clsk”, kept for a day. The project request form is entirely excluded from those recordings: neither what you type nor what you select.
What these tools never receive. Page addresses reach them cleaned, without anything after the question mark or the hash. No name, no email address, no phone number, no field content, no request identifier is passed on. Technical pages, the styleguide and the review page are excluded from measurement altogether.
What doesn't exist here and isn't about to
No advertising. No Google Ads, no Meta Ads, no remarketing pixel, no ad network. You will not be chased by a tattoo picture for three weeks.
No selling on. Your data is not sold, rented, traded or handed to a broker. That sentence has no small print.
No embedded third-party content. No Google Maps frame, no YouTube or Vimeo video, no Instagram feed, no font pulled from an outside server. The site's fonts are hosted here. Where an address points to Google Maps, it is a plain link: nothing loads until you click.
The form sets nothing. Your request goes to Resend, which sends the emails, but it all happens between my server and theirs. No cookie is placed in your browser at that point.
Changing your mind as easy as saying yes was
Declining has to be as quick as accepting, including after the fact. The link below reopens the banner: you answer again, and your new answer replaces the old one.
If you go from yes to no, the cookies already set by measurement are deleted straight away and the page reloads so that nothing keeps running.
You can also clear everything from your browser's privacy settings. Your choice disappears along with the rest, and the banner will ask again on your next visit.
Who & for how long the details missing everywhere else
Who is responsible. Kaiiza Tattoo is the trading name of a sole proprietorship, that of Kajsa Charlotta Koskinen, business identification number CHE-238.087.387, Grand-Rue 10, 1844 Villeneuve (VD), Switzerland. That business decides what is measured here, and nobody else.
The studio has no access. Amartato Studio is where I work, at that same address. It has no access to these measurements, nor to anything you send me.
Reaching me. For any question about this page or your data, write to kaiiza.tattoo@gmail.com: I am the one reading.
How long your choice lasts. Thirteen months. After that, you are asked again. You are also asked sooner if this page changes version, meaning a tool, a purpose or a recipient genuinely changes: consent given for what is described here cannot be stretched to cover something else.
